Linked Sheets

Posted by Matthew Schmitt on May 14, 2001 7:02 AM
I have a spreadsheet where rows get inserted to add outstanding items. When these rows are inserted, it changes the cells that a second spreadsheet is linked to. Any way to be able to insert rows on the first sheet, and not have it do anything to the links on the second?

I always make sure the linked file is open, if it is
a separate file. Then the formulas adjust to point
to the correct cells. To keep the same number of
rows you must insert them in both files.
