Linking Cells

Posted by JS on November 08, 2000 11:50 AM
Hi all,

Is there anyway to link cells between multiple worksheets so that they show the same value? I'm working with multiple sheets in my .xls file. Is there a way to link cells between 2 or more sheets so that a change in one is reflected in the others? For example, I have a group of values on sheet2 that are derived from formulas. I want to summarize those values on sheet1. Also, if values are changed in sheet2 depending on the input, I want that changed reflected on sheet1. Is that confusing enough?

If you have data on sheet1, go to sheet2. Type =,
click sheet1, click target cell, enter. That creates
the link. YOu can have numerous links, but there
must be data at the beginning of the link.
