Linking cells in different worksheets
Posted by Christi on January 09, 2001 11:02 AM
I have a workbook with several worksheets in it. Is there a way I can link cells so that if data in a cell on one worksheet is changed, the same data in another worksheet is also changed? This would save me so much time!

You poor thing! Have you been updating information more than once? To copy data from one cell to another just enter the cell type and equal sign and then select the cell you want to link to (it will get dotted lines around it) then press enter.

Cpod, you are the best! Once I get everything linked, it will free up so much time. Thanks so much!

How about linking entire columns? Is that as easy as linking cells?

Just link the first cell in the column and copy down.
