Lotus to excel file conversion
Posted by Carolyn VanEman on October 15, 2001 6:43 AM
We are in the process of changing our company standards to Microsoft 2000. Currently we are using Lotus 97. Is there a utility which will automate the conversion, both extensions wk* and 123 are in use. We are looking for something that would convert macros also.
Any assistance and advice on this project would be greatly appreciated. The volume on the conversions is very large and will be time consuming with out some automation.
Thanks

All the utilities drop macros. Excel and Lotus have different macro languages. Your only option is a re-write. Excel will convert data on a worksheet and some formulas, but some formatting will change and the macros will fail. Joe Was
