how can you get excel to word

Posted by brian tansey on March 05, 2000 1:05 PM
im running a competition for the european championships for the local pub and work colleagues
i set it up on 'excel'-or the 'works' version
as a spreadsheet-even though there are no calculations to be done-(it suited the 16 down to 8 down to 4 /2 /1 format
i now realise it looks colourless and boring and want tp mone it to word 2000 or any other suggestions?
to add colour and add pictures any ideas?

You don't have to move it to Word. Excel can accommodate colour and pictures.

Brian

Am not familiar with what can and cannot be done in the Works version but cannot believe that colour is not available.
Open the Formatting toolbar. It has a button for colouring cells and a button for colouring cell contents.
To add pictures or other graphics go to Insert (on the menu bar), select Pictures, and proceed according to you requirements.
Would also suggest that you use the Help Index by typing in words such as ˇ§Colorˇ¨ and ˇ§Pictureˇ¨.
