Excel data to access

I have a number of "excel" data files
that I would like to transfer to an access
database (yet to be created).

Each excel file consists of a number of tabs which I
would like to transfer to one large access database.

Use File/get external data/import.
You then specify which sheets you wish to import.
Be careful with data types in the excel sheet as these can be misinterpreted in Access then look messed up, so make sure the number or text format etc is correct in Excel.As far as Iknow, you will need to import sheets seperately, first to differnet tables, then in Access combine all the tables into one using append queries.
