Creating graphics based on Pivot Table
Posted by Dominique De Beys on December 27, 2001 6:07 AM
Dear all,
I would like to create a pie chart based on a pivot table. Unfortunately, I don't want to use the pivot chart utility. The results I got when I used pivot chart was not good enough.
Can you help me to create a "nice" graphic based on a pivot table without using the pivot chart utility?
Thanks for your help,
Dominique

I am looking for a more elegant solution to this problem too, but what I am doing in the mean time is to paste the data to another sheet (Paste Special with the Values option selected or you just get another pivot table) and building my chart from that. I will probably end up writing a macro to copy the data automatically later.
Good luck...Mike
