Is it possible to filter over various sheets at the same time?

I have 18 sheets with the same lay-out. Now I want to have a filter on the 18th sheet which can filter over all 17 sheets at the same time. Is this possible?

My suggestion is to use a pivot table. A pivot table can deal with multiple consolidation ranges, and then you can play with the data once it's all together.
