In Lotus when you use the Print All to Page in uses all of the Paper. In Excel97 when you Click the radio button Fit to 1 by 1 it doesn't use all of the Paper. Is there any Fix to this? Please help at your earliest convenience. thx

could it be your margins ?

try reducing your 4 margins all down to "zero"

If I reduce the margins the print is a little better, but it does not use the full sheet of paper. Thanks for your help. Are there any other suggestions you can think of?

Don't forget that the print area will have to be the same "shape" as a full sheet of paper

You can usually tell by looking at the diagonal from top left to bottom right - if it's too wide, your "fit to one sheet" will squash this width, at the expense of height, and if it's too long, your "fit to one sheet" will squash the height, at the expense of width....

To fit to one sheet, with no spare paper, you need

a) no margins

b) a print area that sits perfectly on the diagonal mentioned above (ie the ratio of width to height)

By the very nature of having to squash to a single page, it means you're recognising that something is too big so it'll be very rare you get this perfect ratio - at least that's my understanding of it

hope this helps, albeit negatively !
