Larger Footers
Posted by Carolyn on April 20, 2000 12:02 PM
I have a large text footer I need to used that exceeds the size allowed in the Page SetUp Footer. I tired typing the information on a sheet in the workbook, name the range and then tried to reference it in the footer in page setup. It didn't work. Can anyone tell me how to get a large footer on a spreadsheet.
Thanks!

I don't know of a way to trick Excel into letting you use over 255 characters in a footer. An alternative might be to use the Print Titles feature. You can specify any number of rows to appear at the top of each page.
