macros

How do you completely delete macros. Even after deletion the prompt comes on opening up the workbook to enable or disable macros. How do you stop this happening please ??

Paul,
You need to ensure that your workbook contains no modules or userforms and that there is no code contained within any of the worksheets. To do this open the VB editor (Alt + F11). In the Project Explorer (View, Project Explorer) remove any modules and userforms by right clicking and selecting Remove Modulex and saying No to the question. If you still get the Macro message when you open the workbook go through each sheet in the Project Explorer by double clicking and removing any code you find.
