ADD-INS

I've created quite nice ADD-INS.

My user exclaim such words as "WOW!" or "AWESOME!".

But one MUST be credited for amazing accomplishments especially when ones work reaches individuals who have no knowledge of ones involvement.

So when a user installs an ADD-IN, a brief description box appears which details the ADD-IN's functionality.

Beyond self glorification, it would be nice to supply a brief outline of the ADD-IN.

Would that be contained in created HELP file associated with the ADD-IN?

Can't help myself. I don't think Mr. Jelen intended this board for anything other than people helping each other out. People like Bill Jelen, Celia, Ivan, Chris, and many others deserve thanks. Sorry Mr. Jelen.

the comments you talk of are available by selecting
File/Properties/Summary/comments and typing
in your text.
Put your addins in the default addin dir
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Library so
that when you load vai the Tools/addin you have your addin listed with your comments.
