Change the "Record Macro" Description.

Hiya

Whenever the Macro Recorder is used, the description box is filled by default with "Macro recorded dd/mm/yyyy by Application.UserName" where dd/mm/yyyy is the current date and Application.UserName returns the users details from Tools/Options/GeneralTab/User Name.

Is there any way to set a default so that either alternative text is displayed or (preferably) the Description box is left blank?

You can edit the description of your macro when you record it, in the dialog box when it confirms what name to give the macro. You can type anything in the bottom of the dialog box..
