Absolute / relative button while macro recording

Posted by Chris D on February 05, 2002 4:14 AM

Morning all,

I keep losing this button. When I try to get it back, I keep going round in circles....

what do I need to do so that when I start recording, the floating box appears with the "stop recording" and the "absolute/relative" toggle buttons ?

Obviously, I need to be able to switch between absolute and relative recording modes

cheers
Chris

Hi there.

You could try putting it on the menu bar and see if it stays there without running off.
Failing that, turn it on in in view>toolbars>customise Its called "stop recording" and if you do that, i should be there all the time.

Hope that helps,

Dave

Thanks Dave,

yeah, I've been trying those before I posted, it's really weird.... nothing seems to bring up any kind of abs/rel button

when the recording macro box pops up onscreen, it's too small and nothing shows in it... I can't seem to make it bigger either by dragging the outline, it just sits there

*shrug*

Got it Dave, just where you said it was.... I'd somehow minimised the damn thing, so had to reset its settings whilst in that commands menu bit, it's now there onscreen each time I'm recording..

fab
cheers mate !
