macro enable/disable button

How do you stop the enable/disable button appearing.

If you're using Excel 2000+ go to Tools, Macro, Security and set it to low. HOWEVER, this is not recommended. You wouldn't know that you'd opened a file containing harmful code (ie virus) until the damage had been done.

In Excel 97 you have to uncheck the Enable Macro Protection checkbox from the Tools, Options and then General tab.
