When I use end-home my curser goes much further down and/or across than the last cells that have anything in them. I've tried to delete the formatting in those cells (both up and across) but that doesn't help.

Thank you I'll try that. I've just noticed that if I try to use the erase border icon, very tiny + signs show up in a number of cells that have nothing in them. What is that all about?
