Auto Macro

Is it possible to auto associate a macro to any new workbook that is created? We utilize a program that exports data to excel. We then use a macro and pivot table to obtain proper format for analysis.

This program creates a new workbook on export, it is not possible to specify a file name. We don't want the users to have to copy the macro each time we do a new export.

What if you put a shortcut to the file that has the macro in the XLStart folder? This workbook will now open each time excel opens and you should have access to your macros. Of coarse you need to write you macro to deal with two separate workbooks. (See Excel Help on "Startup Folders" for more info)
