Checking If A Workbook Is Read Only

I have a workbook that is used by several people. I'd like to check, upon opening, if the workbook was opened Read Only because someone else is in it. If the workbook is opened Read Only, I want to popup a message telling the user to try again later.

I struck out seraching the site. Is there a way to check if a workbook was opened as Read Only?

Thanks for any assistance!

Mark

That's perfect! I can't believe it was so simple.

Thank you very much!
