have an excel file which I want to convert to a csv. THe macro works fine except the resulting csv file has all these extra commas both below and to the right of the values.

Tried deleting the blank values below and to the right but still no luck.

Furtermore, sometimes the csv holds the date format of a column and sometimes it doesnt.

Any suggestions?

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Can you give sample of source file ?
Can you give sample of csv file ?
Can you give us a look at the macro ?

I would like to but company I work for has clamped down on sending any company files out.

As for the macro, even when i do it manually step-by-step the same thing happens. The source file itself has no formulas, all hard-coded numbers, with one column of dates. Sorry I can't provide more, but someone just got in lots of trouble for sending company files out.
