DOes anyone know how to write code for putting bar codes on ID card I am producing?

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
I did a barcode app once.

The software that came with the barcode reader included a special font. The font was the barcode. There were actually 4 or 5 fonts, some would have the text equivelant of the barcode underneath it, some were just the bars.

Anyways, I used the label wizard on some Avery peel-off sticky labels, and treated the barcode just like regular data, but the numbers/letters are formatted as bars. Kind of like wingdings, except with bars.

We shopped around for barcode readers, and this seemed to be the standard approach.

Thanks for that...it gave me an idea to look for it at download.com and installed a free file called:

Free True Type Barcode 39 Font 4.12

Works like a charm. I guess I still need to get a barcode scanner.

Thanks again
