I'd like to insert today's date in cell BB14 if any of the cells in range F11:AU14 are changed in my worksheet. Some of these cells in the range use validation. Clearly, I need to use the Worksheet Change function but any more clues on how to do this please?

Thanks.

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Try:

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Not Application.Intersect(Target, Range("F11:AU14")) Is Nothing Then
        Range("BB14").Value = Now
    End If
End Sub

You can use Date instead of Now if you don't want the time.

Sorry I didn't make myself very clear. How would I join the following code together to run in a Worksheet Change function:

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Not Application.Intersect(Target, Range("F11:AU14")) Is Nothing Then
        Range("BD10").Value = Now
    End If
End Sub

[code]Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Not Application.Intersect(Target, Range("F17:AU20")) Is Nothing Then
        Range("BD16").Value = Now
    End If
End Sub

Like this?

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Not Application.Intersect(Target, Range("F11:AU14")) Is Nothing Then
      Range("BD10").Value = Now
ElseIf Not Application.Intersect(Target, Range("F17:AU20")) Is Nothing Then
      Range("BD16").Value = Now
   End If
End Sub
