I was looking for a way to revert back to files that I have accidentally overwritten. I saved over a file and now I need it back in its originial form. I know there is software that can do this but I was wondering if anyone knew of another way. Thanks.

I don't think there is. And the software you're talking about I believe only works if you had it installed before you made the changes.
