First, the keyboard contains every keyboard shortcut. For those of you who have read the first chapter of Mr Excel ON EXCEL, there are dozens of useful keyboard shortcuts, but who can remember them all? This keyboard puts all of the shortcuts at your fingertips - literally! The top of the key lists the Ctrl shortcut and the front of the key lists the Ctrl+Shift shortcut. I use Excel constantly, yet even I learned stuff from this keyboard. Need to produce numbers in StrikeThrough font? Select the cell and hit Ctrl+5. Wow! That is a lot easier than using the Format Cells function! Want to get rid of borders? Ctrl+Shift+Dash. None of this is rocket science, but frankly, you have to learn these keyboard shortcuts a few at a time and who is going to keep a book open for the next 3 weeks as you learn them all. With this keyboard, you can slowly master keystrokes that will save you time every hour of every day. The keyboard is an "extended" keyboard, with the newer keys above the F keys. The keys that let you control your media player sound or open the calculator. It is even better. Download the drivers, and you get 12 powerful macros attached to the function keys. Hit the "Bar Lock" key, and you now have one-button access to Autosum, Sort Ascending, Sort Descending, Freeze Panes, Insert Cells, etc. Hit the Pad Lock button and you have 17 powerful macros attached to the numeric keypad. They didn't forget VBA programmers - Pad-8 will bring up the Watch Window. It is just a brilliant keyboard. But there is more. What if you don't use Excel all of the time? The keyboard actually comes in 2 pieces. There is a base with all the electronics and then a keyset with the Excel keys.
