Forum regular users do not have an ability to remove their threads. The mods can delete threads but we only ever really remove spam or duplicates.

i just noticed it

but what if i want to take out some information that i posted, that at the moment i though it would be harmless but it ended up being compromising?

Use the little icon that looks like a warning sign (with an exclamation mark) on the left of the post to report the post to a moderator. Explain what needs editing and why; and if you have a good reason, the mod will edit it for you.
