I have spotted two spam threads today. I have reported one of them, gone to the other to do the same and, surprisingly enough, I've got a message
This forum requires that you wait 60 seconds between reporting posts. Please wait 27 seconds.

What is the rationale behind that limit?

It's a default setting in the forum software I think. Typically, if you're spotting spam posted that close together, it's probably by the same poster, in which case we only need one report anyway.

But please do keep reporting it! :)

And I would think it would be there to stop a spambot spamming the forum (& Moderators ) to a stand-still by reporting 1000 genuine posts as spam within a few seconds.
