Cannot use the "table" feature when posting

@Doc... I have no experience with forum tools.
What code are you wanting me to copy? What you posted?

I copied the code that I posted and pasted in the last message.

Please advise. I appreciate the help!

.....

1. ) What is in that HTML Code Window is normal BB Code for a Table. I had to put it in the HTML Code Window or the editor would have turned it into a Table. (Like what you want). So copy (Ctrl C ) just the text from inside that window. Then Reply to me and paste ( Ctrl V ) that text in that reply. And submit the Reply as normal

.......!

. I had no idea about them either. But it is worth it in the long run to try and install those Add - Ins.

. Read this.

.. they are noote I made for myself. But if you have WORD 2007 or higher download it and there should be some screen shots along with my explanations that make it fairly easier to follow. Or check out Post #1 here:

@Alan... a bit of a diversion but not necessarily so (although it is a cheat) ;)

[color=lightgrey]Using Excel 2007[/color]
[size=1][Table="width:, class:grid"]
[tr][td][/td][td][/td][/tr]

[tr][td][/td][td][/td][/tr]

[tr][td][/td][td][/td][/tr]
[/table][/size][Table="width:, class:grid"][tr][td][color=darkblue][b][size=4]Tabelle1[/size][/b][/color][/td][/tr][/table]

but my main reason for posting is to make sure whovis didn't miss the link to the video in my last post as we posted at the same time. :)

@ Mark

. Thanks for that neat Tip. I misssed that way to do it. Very useful

@ whovis

Mark just showed me a way other than in a HTML Code Window to post you that BB Code without the editor converting it into a table. Hope our diversion is not confusing you more

As it may look in your editor window:
[color=lightgrey]Using Excel 2007[/color]
[size=1][Table="width:, class:grid"]
[tr][td][/td][td][/td][/tr]

[tr][td][/td][td][/td][/tr]

[tr][td][/td][td][/td][/tr]
[/table][/size][Table="width:, class:grid"][tr][td][color=darkblue][b][size=4]Tabelle1[/size][/b][/color][/td][/tr][/table]

As it should look after Posting
Using Excel 2007
Tabelle1

@Doc - the code does look like that in the preview. When I actually post the reply, or comment, there is a blank space... No boxes.

More to come.

On what forum are you trying to show the result?

@ whovis

. along the lines of what Mark is getting at…

On what forum are you trying to show the result?

. Just a long shot…..Is your BB code (right under) on…(here 4 screen shot attempts of where to look - hopefully you can see at least 1 of them - the last one you cannot see I think as this Forum has HTML Code off
