    Hi
    I have a column of cells each with multiple lines of text. I am trying to bold the first word of the second line in each cell. I can write a macro to bold the line, but I dont know how to make it start at the second line of text rather than the first.

    example:
    Photoresist Spinner
    Manufacturer: Edwards
    Model: 306A

    I would like to Bold just the word manufacturer. The First line of text has a different number of characters for each cell so I'm wondering if there is some way to start with an "alt-enter" command to skip right to the second line and then bold the first 13 characters.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    How about:

    With Worksheets("sheet1")
    test = InStr(.Cells(1, 1), Chr(10)) + 1
    .Cells(1, 1).Characters(InStr(.Cells(1, 1), Chr(10)) + 1, 13).Font.Bold = True
    End With
