Hello,

I want to end up with a decimal number for inbetween two times. I need a formula if its possible for this:

B4 = Start Time
C4 = End Time
D4 = =TEXT(C4-B4,"h:mm") For the calculation

Then I get the amount in time value. This is good but I need a formula that will take this time and divide by 60 so I can get the time in decimal form.

Thanks.

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.

Why not just use in D4:

=(C4-B4)*24

which you format as General?
