Encryption error when copying the file

When copying a file I get the following message:

The file "FILENAME" cannot be copied or moved without losing its encryption.

You can choose to ignore this error and continue, or cancel.

This ONLY happens when I copy to a company server. I built an estimating tool that many people will use locally then transfer it to the server. I am worried this error message will cause havoc.

Any ideas on this? Could it be a virus scan on the company servers?
The file is not password protected. The only passwords in it are for individual sheet protections.
I created a test file with sheets protected and copied it to the company server. It had no problems.
I created a test file with password protection upon open and it had no problems.

It must be something in the excel tool I created. Any ideas?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
OK, this is ODD....
I made a copy of the file and systematically started deleting everything.
First macros, still errror.
Then unprotected everything, still error.
Then buttons, still error.
Then sheets...still error.

I removed all contents of the file with a new blank sheet only left. It still errored.

Is it possible for the file to be corrupted?
If so, eek...how do I move everything to a new workbook. I have over a hundred named ranges, dozens of macros, about 20 sheets with buttons etc.
The sheets and macros would be easy, the ranges I am worried about.

Just to put closure to this thread....
Here is what I found out:

It ended up being our corporation encryption. Everytime I boot up or copy a file onto my laptop it encrypts it. If I make a file from scratch, it is not encrypted until I boot up again. I found out how to turn off the encryption and the error goes away when copying to a server. The only problem is, all the users would have to manually turn this off.

Its easier to just hit ignore. I regression tested my tool to make sure it still worked properly after hitting ignore and it is fine.

How I turned off encryption: Right click the file and select properties. Click on the advanced button. Then there is a check box that says "Encrypt Contents to Secure Data." Checked means the file is encrypted (thats when I get the error). Just uncheck it to remove encryption.

Maybe someone else will have the issue someday and find this helpful.
