In Excel 97, can someone tell me what the criteria is for a file getting added to the recent list? I can't seem to figure out a pattern, but I'm finding more and more often my files are not getting added. It doesn't seem to be network or local related. Just wondering.

Thanks, Dave

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Are you opening and closing the file via Excel? Opening via Explorer will not add the file to the list. Opening via VBA does not seem to do the trick either, workbooks.open.
