I'll try to make this simple and avoid having to use a diagram....

What I want to achieve is this;

I'm inputting infomation onto one page in a spreadsheet, 2 columns (Name and address)
In another page on the same spreadsheet, I want to enter Name information and get Excel to update the corresponding address column automatically.
I don't know if it is possible, but this is definitely the place to come for help.

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.

You may want to try VLOOKUP

=VLOOKUP(A1,RANGE,2,0),

Where A1 would be where you enter the name
Range is the data table of your information
2 is the column from which your addresses reside
0 is for FALSE, looking for an EXACT match or it reutrns #N/A
