Default Formula for converting minutes to hours

I'm trying to convert minutes to hours/minutes. What is the formula for this? I've heard rumors of such a formula around the campfires of Topeka, but can't remember how to input this.

    Can someone help?

    Thanks,
    Brandon

    =A1/1440

Custom format the formula cell as [h]:mm.

You can divide an integer such as 75 that reflects minutes by 1440 ( the number of minutes in a day.)

You can then custom format the cell as you choose.

For example a format of [m] would show 75
or a format of h:mm would show 1:15

    good luck
