Default "A PivotTable report cannot overlap another PivotTable report

    Hi!

I have multiple PivotTables in a worksheet and I am getting an error "A PivotTable report cannot overlap another PivotTable report" if I am putting too many rows in my first table.

So, is it somehow possible to define that Excel would create more empty rows and thus drop the tables that are below my first table if the first table would otherwise be overlapping..?

    Thanks!

Not easily - would need some code to run every time the Pivot Table was updated.

If the tables are designed to expand vertically, can you arrange them horizontally instead?

    Yard,

Thanks for your answer. That's what I was actually expecting. I think I must have the tables expanding vertically because it is wanted that the total row is at bottom.

Would you have any ideas how to solve this with VBA and so that it wouldn't make it a lot slower to update the table. Is it somehow possible to activate the macro only when the "A PivotTable report cannot overlap another PivotTable report" occurs and then insert the empty rows needed..?

    Hi,

Not what I meant. The tables will expand vertically as you describe - therefore if you position the tables side by side you might avoid the problem.
