Default can't move focus to the control because it is invisible not enabled

I have not programed any Macros for about a year and I am now trying to create a form to help me in my new job. When I try to call the form in Excel 2007 I get the Run time error of "can't move focus to the control because it is invisible not enabled"

What am I missing here? Do I need to set up something differently in the trust center settings?

I have programmed a macro already in the workbook to format some data and it works.

Thanks in advance for your help!
    Thanks,
    Rodney

    Hi Rodney,

From your post I assume you have already built the form.

Have you checked the controls on the form to see if the first control to get focus is actually disabled or hidden by default?
(Using Excel 2010 and Windows 8.1)

I was able to track down a calendar control that I tried. It was invisible and I found it, removed it and the form opens.

    Thanks
    Thanks,
