    Thanks Peter for your quick reply.
    I am not sure whether this is that "simple." My chart is a scatter plot, with four series having y values below 100 and the outlier series exceeding 1000. The example that you indicate adds a secondary axis and uses column chart type. I afraid I cannot see how to adjust that procedure for a scatter type chart.
