Hi

In Excel so that the 2 is a subscript? I can do it by typing CO and then using Ctrl+1 to open the fiont dialog and clicking the subscript checkbox, then OKing out of it and typing the 2. Job done.

Type in CO2

Click in the cell, then in the formula bar select just the 2.

Press CTRL + 1, tick subscript then click OK.

Type CO2 in your cell then select the 2 in the formula bar and format font as Subscript. Is that what you want?

Edit: Or what Richard or VoG said.
