Default Re: Anderson Darling Test for Normality

The example at http://www.theriac.org/DeskReference...ment.php?id=60 is worked below.

    Code:
           -B-- ---C--- -------D-------
       2 n 6 C2: =COUNT(X)
       3 mean 315.8 C3: =AVERAGE(X)
       4 sd 14.9 C4: =STDEV(X)
       5 Asq 0.1699
       6
       7 i X
       8 1 294.2
       9 2 308.5
      10 3 313.1
      11 4 317.7
      12 5 322.7
      13 6 338.7
    The formula in C5 is

    =-n - SUMPRODUCT((2*i-1)*LN(NORMSDIST((X-mean)/sd)) + (2*(n-i)+1)*LN(1-NORMSDIST((X-mean)/sd))) / n
