I am Pramod Kumar using excel2007. I am facing problem in giving color on below given criteria.

if value is between 90-100 (number colour in Green)
    80-89 (Then Yellow)
    79-0 (Then Red)

My major problem is that my manager do not wants to color the entire cell rather he wants to color only number or percentage on abaove given criteria rather than colouring entire cell.

Please help me out. Please let me know, if my points are not clear to you.

    Regards,
    Pramod Kumar

You can change the font colour using Conditional Formatting http://www.contextures.com/xlCondFormat01.html

When using conditional format, click on "Custom Format" and you can specify to change just the text colour in there...

I don't understand what you mean.

If you specify a different font colour only the caracters will change colour, not the cell background.

Do you mean you have other characters in the cell besides the number?
    Kind regards
