Default CHART-Clustered Column, need help on a 3 column variation

I am trying to get a column / bar chart variation to work with four columns. I am using instructions from Walkenbach's Excel Charts book page 258.

I want to add a forth column and have the three clustered columns inside the Orders column. I have been able to get the staked column converted into a clustered column inside the Orders column, but when I try to add a third column nothing works? The third column is hidden by the other columns???

fairwinds - thnaks, I will study suggestion tonight couldn't get it to work quickly so I will have to study, study, study..

In the mean time I thought you could--
    1. set one chart on top (directly on top, not above) another chart, and
    2. then set the area pattern to none making that chart transpartent, and
    3. then set one chart on the other, and
    4. finally set the "order" of one so it goes to the back???

If I could get this to work it would be a temp fix...

I'm using Office XP and the "order" is not highlighted when I have a chart selected?

Dis-regard -- the "bring to front" is at the bottom of the drop down -- I just can't see today--hell maybe everyday...
