A few days ago I was quite successful iserting page breaks at my desired locations once I went to Page Break View.

But now inserting page breaks does not work.

Any clues.

I tried with right mouse click, as well as insert menu to insert breaks, but nothing worked.

Click the italics "fx" icon to the left of the formula bar to open the Functions Arguments dialog. Help is displayed for each argument.
Excel will not allow you to stretch a page beyond its printable size - so generally you can only have less on a page rather than more (making more pages). (??)

Same thing happened to me once. Try dragging the print lines so you only have the one page in page break view. then when selecting the second page by clicking and dragging make it one column wider than the one above. Then drag the lines to line it up properly.

May not help you but it did work for me.

Hi:

When you view page break preview, are the blue solid or dotted lines appear?

Be sure that you first select a range to print.

Nothing worked. I tried several options. I stretched the page to the whole worksheet range, but it showed only 1 page. Everything was ok a few days ago in the same workbook, but it suddenly stopped responding.

OK just discovered the problem. I had checked fit to 1 page mark in page setup. I removed this mark, and now everything is working fine.

Thanks for ur review.

The problem is NOT fit to page 'per se', In fit to page you can specify - wide -, and - long -.
The # of pages -long- IS THE culprit of the problem. Leave that BLANK.

On large reports, when scaling is needed you ONLY ask fit to page -wide- never fill the -long- option.
