Here is another way. Take a deep breath and notice the Is Nothing statement that you have been shown before to avoid the error, which is shown here again. Replace the message box lines with what you want to have happen.
If Columns(6).Find(1, lookat:=xlWhole, LookIn:=xlValues) Is Nothing Then
MsgBox "There is no ''1'' in column F. Click OK to exit."
MsgBox "Yippeee !! There was a ''1'' in column F."
