chart format help

quick question:

is it possible in a bar chart to have a marker on the chart ie. if my chart went to 5 have a line across the chart for each value. so there would be a line at 1 then 2 then 3 etc.

Im using a stack chart with all numbers below 10 and i want a box around each value which is always a whole number

Do you mean a column chart? You can use gridlines or this may be what you want:
