Hi, all.
We have a workbook that has mysteriously become "Shared". (Of course, that old PITA Mr. Nobody is responsible for it.) and now I can't remove the protection in order to make corrections.

I've tried the normal:
Tools
Shareworkbook
Uncheck the Allow Changes by more.......

It doesn't work, and I can't figure out what to do next.

Any suggestions on how I can get this thing to where I can unprotect it?

Thanks in advance,

BeckieO

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
SUCCESS!!! Thanks all.
It seems the key is in the sequence:
First:
Tools
Protection
Unprotect and Share Workbook

THEN:
Tool
Share Workbook
Uncheck the Allow Changes by more.....

Thanks again, yall are great
