VBA to format cell borders

Can someone suggest appropriate code?

If Sheets1(A3:Z40) contain numeric values then, apply Black cell borders.

End Sub

Sub CellBorders()
Range("A3:Z40").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeConstants, 1).Borders.ColorIndex = 1
End Sub

or...

Sub CellBorders2()
Range("A3:Z40").SpecialCells(2, 1).Borders.ColorIndex = 1
End Sub
