    Hi,

Just edit the cell & put '='in front of it.

how about a UDF that do tha same with the Morefunc EVAL() function?
    Something like this

    Function MyEval(s)
    ****MyEval = Evaluate(s)
    End Function
There is always a better way!!

    Hi!
if you mean that you have a formula something like this in sheet1 E1
    =A1 &"+"& A2
    which is text format
    then
    call the udf Myeval()
    =myeval("="&Sheet1!e1)
There is always a better way!!

If you have a formula, say

    =VLOOKUP(I2,B2:N2001,11,FALSE)

and it shows up as text in an Excel cell, then you have to go -> Edit->Find->Replace and 'replace' any part of the text with the same thing for instance ',FALSE)' with ',FALSE)' then it will recognise and convert it to a formula.

Genius indeed, this replace all with the same value!! You also saved me hours of work!!! I was about to click, click again and press enter for every formula that I pasted into my worksheet (roughly between 2000 and 3000 formulas and it's getting more). So you saved me between 6000 and 9000 movements! So more importantly you saved me from getting RSI! :D

    Thanks tringo007! Loving this forum!
