Hello, I am using excel 2010 and am returning a #REF error with following formula, while trying to reference another sheet:

INDEX(INDIRECT(C$15&"!$C$18:$DP$38"),MATCH(...etc.

Cell C15 refers to a sheet title

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
The syntax looks fine.
But if the Sheet Name in C15 contains spaces it will be an error.
Sheet names with spaces in them need to be surrounded by '

'Sheet 1'!A1

Try
INDEX(INDIRECT("'"&C$15&"'!$C$18:$DP$38"),MATCH(...etc.
