Default Find character in text string

I have this text in cell a1:

DLC Gross Profit % DLC Sls

What formula can I use to isolate the "%" in cell a2?

    Thanks,
    Jonbob

if you know you are looking for the % you could use this formula:
    =MID(A1,FIND("%",A1,1),1)
otherwise you'd have to try somethingelse, but more information would be needed to figure that out.

Well, this seems weird... I must be missing something. You just want to see the "%" ?

    =IF(ISNUMBER(FIND("%",A1)),"%","")

This may round it out for you... is there anyway to conditionally format cells off of that so if a "%" is present, it will format a number in a percentage format?
