Could you help me figure the formula for percent of a mark up, for example: Our cost of a product is $2.55 , the price we charge for a product is $3.32, what would our percentage markup be,

B16 has $2.55 (our cost), C16 has 3.32 (we charge) how do i make D16 figure the percent markup (30% for example)

I have only taken a nightcourse in Excel and am not very literate in excel language, so laymens terms would be appreciated.

Thanky you

Sorry i forgot to tell you that you have to format your cell to % sign by clicking the % icon on your menu toolbar after copying the formula .
