I want to lookup for two criterias and want excel to count the number of criteria. how may i go about it?

Without having more information, its difficult to say what exactly you need. That being said, counting with conditions may require the use of COUNTIF or COUNTIFS for multiple criteria

COUNTIF can only do 1 criteria as with COUNTIFS can do multiple criteria. The screen tips for COUNTIFS tend to be more helpful and even if you're only do calculations for 1 criteria it's still better to just use COUNTIFS. Hope that helps you out

You will probably need to provide some sample data, but you could also be looking at using SUMPRODUCT
