I am attempting VLookup (and know how this is done), but my unique identifier is creating problems in terms of how the initial raw data was extracted.

For example, in one file the unique record identifier is 827, the second file has 000000827. I don't know how to sync the two such that they are recognized as a match on the VLookup.....I can't find way to delete the leading zeros in the second file.

Thank you!

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Control+shift+enter, not just enter:

=INDEX(ResultRange,MATCH(827,MatchRange+0,0))

Does this fit the expectations?
